Junior Accountant

The hiring company is one of the leading commodity trading conglomerates established in Indonesia and has a business presence worldwide.

The role of the Junior Accountant will be based out of its Singapore office in the CBD area. The successful candidate will work well in a cross-functional liaison setting and have a strong sense of self-leadership.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare the Journal Entry and approve the Invoices posted by the Operations team (AP & APR Process, GL)
• Prepare the payment instruction and check according to the rules
• Prepare the GST form and submit it to the tax agent
• Liaise with the auditor to prepare for AFS
• Monitor the collection of contracts using software
• Review the contract sheet with each counterparty
• Perform other financial and accounting duties as required

Requirements:

• Min Diploma/Degree in Accountancy and Finance or related field
• Fair Value accounting / Hedge accounting expertise is a good to have.
• Flexible and able to work well in a cross-functional liaison setting
