SIMBA Telecom seeks a Sales or Account Executive to build relationships with corporate clients and drive sales for Singapore's newest 4G mobile network. The role involves managing dealer relationships, achieving sales targets, and providing market insights. Ideal candidates will have experience in sales, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of telecom retail dynamics.
About the role:
SIMBA Telecom has been appointed as Singapore’s 4th mobile telecommunications network service provider and is currently building Singapore’s newest 4G mobile network.
We are looking for self-starters to join SIMBA Telecom as a Sales or Account Executive to build and retain relationships with our corporate clients & strategic partners. Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, maximise distribution to grow business revenue.
The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
1. Dealer Relationship & Channel Management
a. Build and manage strong, trust-based relationships with open market dealers and retailers.
b. Serve as the primary liaison between the telecom company and open channel partners.
c. Conduct regular field visits to assess dealer needs, provide support and reinforce loyalty.
2. Sales Target Achievement
a. Drive sales of telecom products such as:
i. Prepaid/postpaid SIM cards
ii. Data bundles and airtime top-ups
b. Ensure monthly and quarterly targets are met across volume, revenue and activation KPIs.
3. Territory Planning and Execution
a. Design and execute route plans for regular dealer engagement.
b. Ensure market coverage and penetration across assigned geographic zones.
c. Analyze dealer performance metrics to identify gaps and growth opportunities.
4. Stock & Inventory Management
a. Ensure dealers maintain sufficient stock of SIM cards and promotional materials.
b. Co-ordinate with vendors to manage timely stock replenishment.
5. Promotional Activities and Campaigns
a. Roll out new Campaigns
b. Distribute merchandising materials (e.g. posters, banners, decals) and ensure brand visibility
6. Market Intelligence & Competitor Tracking
a. Collect and report real-time insights on:
i. Competitor pricing and offers
ii. Market trends and dealer sentiment
iii. Customer switching behavior (churn)
b. Provide actionable feedback to marketing and product teams for strategic adjustments.
7. Training and Capability Building
a. Train dealers on how to pitch and activate promotions to end customers.
b. Train dealers and their staff on new product launches, activation/registration processes and compliance policies.
c. Support digital literacy among dealers for app-based SIM activation and recharges.
8. Revenue Assurance & Compliance
a. Monitor SIM card activation quality and avoid fraudulent.
b. Ensure dealers follow regulatory, internal processes and compliance policies
9. Reporting & Data Management
a. Maintain detailed records of:
i. Daily dealer visits and engagements
ii. Sales performance
iii. Market feedback and escalate issues
b. Submit structured reports to sales manager or trade marketing teams.
The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management or Partner Management.
Minimum Diploma in any discipline
Passionate in engaging internal & external partners of all levels
Strong interpersonal skills & curious complemented with problem-solving, resilient & growth mindset
Analytical mindset with comfort in using excel as reporting dashboards
· Deep understanding of telecom retail dynamics (SIMs, top-up, churn, bundling)
Class 3 driving license
Ability to work independently and travel extensively
