About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Jewellery Store Assistant Manager to join our team in the Central Region. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in the day-to-day operations of our flagship jewellery store, supporting the Store Manager to ensure exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the smooth running of all store operations
  2. Lead and motivate the store team to deliver outstanding customer service
  3. Effectively manage and schedule staff to ensure optimal store coverage
  4. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  5. Monitor and analyse store performance data to identify areas for improvement
  6. Support the implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and legal requirements
  8. Assist with inventory management and stock control

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years' experience in a retail management role, preferably within the jewellery or luxury goods industry
  2. Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
  3. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales and service targets
  4. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities
  5. Excellent organisational and time management skills
  6. Working knowledge of retail operations, inventory management and loss prevention
  7. Passion for the jewellery industry and a keen eye for detail
