Job summary

ATOP Academy PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a dedicated JC Mathematics tutor to deliver lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE JC syllabus, assess learner needs, and tailor plans for strong progress.

You'll guide algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and probability; provide timely feedback, develop engaging resources, and communicate with parents on student progress to uphold teaching standards.

Qualifications

• GCE A-Level, Diploma, or Degree in Education, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of JC mathematical concepts and problem-solving methods.
• Familiarity with the Singapore MOE JC Mathematics syllabus and assessment requirements.
• Ability to teach JC Mathematics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver JC Mathematics lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE JC syllabus.
• Assess students’ learning needs and customise lesson plans to maximise learning outcomes.
• Teach algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and probability.
• Guide students in applying mathematical methods, reasoning, and problem-solving strategies.
• Mark assignments, monitor progress, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for school assessments and national examinations.
• Develop students’ confidence, accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Create a positive, engaging, and disciplined learning environment.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ academic progress.
• Develop teaching resources, lesson materials, and classroom activities.
