Qualifications

Job description

Java Technical Lead

• 15 years of development experience in Front-end applications, programming languages and back-end queries.
• Well organized and to prioritise and carry out multiple tasks. Influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges.
• Translate functional requirements to efficient and fit-for-purpose technical solutions
• Preferably, have experience in finance/ banking / Wealth management domain
• Domain knowledge on Client Output management and / or document management is a plus
• Understand business / system requirements and translate them into technical solutions that are scalable, stable, and fit for purpose.
• Ensure adherence to the bank standards (including code, security and performance)
• Work collaboratively with team to achieve goals.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, and/or Extreme programming.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge on Java, JBOSS, Spring boot, Hibernate frameworks.
• Strong knowledge on Service oriented architecture, RESTful services
• Good knowledge of SQL (MySQL, Oracle, Postgres etc.)
• Knowledge of Quadient Inspire & Open Text Documentum platforms will be an advantage
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes (PKS) and containerization, streaming using Kafka, Avro schema
• Strong computer science knowledge (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design)
• Working knowledge of GITLAB repositories, Maven, Octopus, CI / CD pipeline
• Basic Linux shell scripting commands
• Familiarity with Intellij, SonarQube/SonarLint

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation & maintenance of Java based output management & document management applications in Asia.
• Passionate about technologies, building robust and scalable interfaces and local developments Stake holder management – working closely with program stakeholders, business change engineers, and project managers to drive and manage IT delivery.
• Drive and review technical and architectural design, enforce architectural guidelines and challenge status
• Take responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed closely and delivered on time and to the required quality standards
• Work collaboratively with team to achieve goals.
• Experience working in a Safe Agile environment.
