Job summary

Reolink in Singapore is seeking a skilled Java software engineer to join our application and web platforms. The role focuses on building high-performance, scalable services, and involves collaborating with local and regional teams to deliver reliable security-focused software.

You will work with Java and Node.js, explore JVM tuning, and leverage Kafka, Redis, and MySQL to support high concurrency. A strong CS foundation and hands-on design, deployment, and monitoring experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor'sorMaster's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• At least 2years of software development experience in JAVA Programmingis preferable for this post
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (operating systems, network principles, data structures, and algorithms)
• Programming Languages:High proficiency in Java (including JVM internals and performance tuning)or Node.js (including its event-driven architecture and asynchronous programming model). Proficiency in both is a significant plus.
• Frameworks & Middleware: Proficient with common open-source frameworks and tools such asKafka, RocketMQ, Dubbo, Zookeeper, and Redis.
• Deep knowledge ofMySQL, includingschema design, SQL optimization, and database scaling strategies.
• Proven, hands-on experience in building, deploying, and maintaining high-concurrency, high-performance, and high-availability systems.

Technical Innovation & Problem-Solving

• Research, design, and implement innovative solutions to address complex business and technical problems, particularly in high-concurrency scenarios.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions, focusing on scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.

Full-Lifecycle Participation

• Actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and system design to testing, deployment, and operational monitoring.
• Work effectively with local and regional team members, as well as business unit partners.
• Share knowledge, promote best practices, and help elevate the team's overall technical capabilities.
