Binance is seeking Java Backend Engineers focused on performance engineering to join our distributed backend systems team in Singapore. You will work on JVM internals, tuning garbage collection, profiling, and optimizing middleware and databases for large-scale workloads.
Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Docker and Kubernetes, and are passionate about building reliable, scalable systems.

We're looking for engineers with approximately 1–5 years of experience who are passionate about Java, distributed systems and performance engineering. Exceptional new graduates with strong Java fundamentals and hands‑on project experience are also welcome to apply.
Rather than focusing on feature development alone, this role is dedicated to improving the performance, scalability and reliability of distributed backend systems. You'll investigate JVM internals, optimize application and middleware performance, troubleshoot production bottlenecks, and build internal tooling that enables engineering teams to ship reliable systems at scale.
