Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of solid experience in software development, data integration, and full-stack web application deployment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and the Flask framework; experience with R for automation tasks is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks, specifically React and Angular.
• Advanced skills in Oracle SQL, database schema design, and performance tuning for high-volume data sets.
• Familiarity with SAS environments and the ability to integrate SAS data sources into web-based applications.

Job Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Design and develop robust data models and integrated IT systems that consolidate information from diverse sources into a unified technical infrastructure.
• Back-End Development: Build, optimize, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using Flaskand Python to support high-performance data processing.
• Front-End Implementation: Develop and maintain interactive, responsive user interfaces using React or Angular frameworks to facilitate system interaction and reporting.
• Database Engineering: Write and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries, manage large-scale database performance, and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Process Automation: Architect and implement automated workflows for data collection, system monitoring, and cross-platform integration to enhance operational efficiency.
• Integration& Maintenance: Manage data integration pipelines, including the extraction and migration of data from legacy sources like SAS into modern web environments.
• Technical Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional departments to translate business requirements into technical specifications and customized software solutions.
• System Optimization: Continuously assess and refactor codebases and system workflows to reduce technical debt, improve security, and enhance overall system reliability.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
