Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java Spring Boot. You will lead API design, architect microservices, and mentor junior developers in a fast-paced agile environment.

Responsibilities include building cloud-native solutions on AWS, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring performance, reliability, and security of backend systems while collaborating with front-end teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience with AWS services including AWS Lambda and serverless architecture.
• Amazon ECS/EKS, RDS, EC2, S3.
• Proficient in SQL and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles (SOLID, DRY, etc.).
