Job description

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software using waterfall/Agile methodology.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues by developing scripts and SQL queries.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Quality Engineers/application testers for requirement analysis, user stories elaboration, test automation, bug fixes, etc.
• Provide estimates for stories or other work units.
• Work with deployment/DevOps teams on setting up continuous integration, build, and release automation.
• Create functional specifications and system design documents.
• Convert acceptance criteria into automated unit tests and create other test documents.
• Support production issues and BAU activities.
• Assist in application setup in Cloud or on-premises environments.
• Participate in application deployment to various environments.

What we are looking for:

• Technical expertise in Java/JEE Framework, JScript, and UNIX.
• Skills in Java, Spring, REST API, UNIX Scripting, IBM WAS, JBoss, and DevOps CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, CloudBees).
• Relevant certifications such as Java SE, Spring professional certification, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with ORACLE, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL databases. Cloud certifications in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud are a plus.
• Experience with waterfall/Agile project methodologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system and application issues.
• Experience implementing high availability, high performance, and high security systems in various data centers or hybrid cloud environments is advantageous.
