Job summary

NEWBRIDGE ALLIANCE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our client's Development team and deliver a scalable, secure Certificate Management Solution that centralizes certificate lifecycle across their systems.

The role requires strong Java expertise, secure coding, and integration with Keycloak IdP, AWS, and MS SQL Server, along with a solid understanding of MAS TRM and cloud-native practices.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of hands-on Java backend development (Spring Boot).
• Security and enterprise-grade service development experience.
• Hands-on with Keycloak or similar IdP (Okta, Azure AD, Auth0).
• Hands-on with AWS and MS SQL is mandatory.
• Strong cryptography, certificate handling (X.509, mTLS).
• Knowledge of MAS TRM and banking security standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements with Tech Leads and Architects.
• Design and develop a scalable Certificate Management Service.
• Ensure design aligns with security and compliance requirements (MAS TRM).
• Develop backend services using Java 8/17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Integrate with Keycloak IdP for authentication/authorization.
• Integrate with AWS services for certificate storage and lifecycle management.
• Integrate with MS SQL Server for data storage.
• Implement secure coding practices and key management.
• Follow SDLC standards with code reviews and unit testing.
• Support deployment during SIT/UAT and prepare docs.

Job description

Our client is looking for 1x experiencedJava Developerto work with their Development team to deliver a scalable, secure, and compliantCertificate Management Solution. The solution will be a central service for managing the lifecycle of certificates across the bank's systems. The role requires strong expertise in Java, secure coding practices, and integration with identity and cloud platforms.

2. Key Roles & Responsibilities

A. Requirement & Design

• Gather and analyze business and technical requirements; perform impact assessment together with our client's Tech Leads and Architects.
• Design and develop a scalable, highly available Certificate Management Service.
• Ensure solution design aligns with our client's development standards, security policies, and compliance requirements (MAS TRM).

B. Development & Integration

• Design and develop backend services usingJava 8/17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Integrate withKeycloak IdPfor authentication and authorization.
• Integrate withAWS services (ACM, Secrets Manager)for secure certificate storage and lifecycle management.
• Integrate withMS SQL Serverfor application data storage and management.
• Implement secure coding practices, data encryption, and key management.

C. Quality, Compliance & Support

• Follow our client's SDLC standards, including code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory guidelines (MAS Technology Risk Management).
• Provide deployment support and fix defects during SIT / UAT phases.
• Prepare technical design documents, deployment guides, and operational handbooks.

3. Tech Stack & Skills Required
