IKAS INTERNATIONAL (ASIA) PTE. LTD. is looking for an experienced Java Developer in Singapore to join our dynamic tech team. You will develop, test, and maintain high-quality code, collaborating closely with architects and business analysts to deliver optimal solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in both frontend and backend (full stack) development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deliver high-quality, maintainable code aligned with defined standards
• Collaborate with architects and business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
• Analyze technical constraints and assess impact on business requirements
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation
• Provide accurate effort estimations for development tasks
• Define and execute test strategies in coordination with project stakeholders
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality and best practices
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and solution

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in Java/J2EE development
• At least 3 years of experience with MS SQL Server and SQL development
• At least 3 years of experience in frontend development using Angular
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
• Experience in both frontend and backend (full stack) development
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly MS SQL Server
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
• Understanding of API‑centric design and scalable system architecture
• Exposure to Apache Spark is an advantage
• Basic understanding of finance or banking systems
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
