Job summary

IDC TECHNOLOGIES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Java backend developer to design and optimize applications using Core Java 8+, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

You will collaborate on messaging systems, databases, and web services to deliver scalable software. Responsibilities include implementing Kafka-based messaging, building REST and SOAP services, deploying with Maven, and tuning SQL for performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience with messaging, Kafka, JMS, and MQ.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and code quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Core Java 8+ and JUnit.
• Implement and optimize messaging solutions using Kafka, JMS, and MQ.
• Design and build REST and SOAP web services.
• Apply Spring Boot to develop scalable backend services.
• Manage build processes using Maven.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to improve database performance.
• Use Linux shell scripting to automate tasks.
• Use IntelliJ, Git, and SonarQube to maintain code quality.
