Job summary

Reolink in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer with a Java backend focus to design, develop, and optimize core systems. You will work with Spring Core, Spring Boot, and Spring Security, and contribute to scalable services.

This role requires strong CS fundamentals, experience with databases and cloud platforms, and collaboration with local and regional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of Java software development experience.
• Strong CS fundamentals: operating systems, networking, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency with Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Security.
• Experience with AWS and Azure.
• Experience with Kafka, RocketMQ, Dubbo, Zookeeper, Redis.
• Deep knowledge of MySQL, including schema design, SQL optimization, and scaling.

Responsibilities

• Design & Development: take ownership of design, development, refactoring, and performance optimization of core system components.
• Technical Innovation & Problem-Solving: research, design, and implement solutions for high-concurrency scenarios.
• System Architecture: contribute to architecture focusing on scalability, availability, and fault tolerance.
• Full-Lifecycle Participation: participate in requirements, design, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: work with local and regional teams and share best practices.
