Qualifications

• Proficient in Java back-end development with clean coding practices.
• Experience with microservices architecture and inter-service communication.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs with versioning and reliability.
• Experience deploying on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for messaging or streaming.
• PostgreSQL schema design, querying and performance tuning.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.
• Clear communication across engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build back-end services in Java using microservices patterns
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations
• Implement event streaming and messaging using Apache Kafka
• Build, deploy and tune cloud-native workloads on Microsoft Azure
• Design PostgreSQL schemas, queries and performance optimizations
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing and release activities
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause fixes
• Create and maintain technical documentation for services and APIs
