Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in software engineering including backend or full-stack development.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments and familiarity with Agile principles and practices.
• Knowledge of SDLC, coding standards, testing practices, and version control.
• Experience with backend development technologies, including Java and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts, data processing, and integration technologies is advantageous.
• Understanding of digital banking, internet banking, retail banking, or related financial services domains is beneficial.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and contribute to multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and backend services
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative software delivery
• Support technical discussions, solution design, code reviews, and implementation activities
• Promote adherence to established development standards, quality practices, and team delivery objectives
• Identify and help resolve technical issues, risks, and delivery impediments
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team environment
• Monitor application performance and support troubleshooting and issue resolution activities
• Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process enhancements and best practices
