Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain business applications using Java and Spring/Spring Boot, delivering high-quality software on time.

You will optimize PostgreSQL databases, build cloud deployments on Google Cloud Platform, and collaborate across teams through the full software development lifecycle to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Strong Java programming and design skills.
• Experience with Spring/Spring Boot and PostgreSQL.
• Experience deploying on GCP and REST API development.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop & maintain business applications and products using Java, Spring/Spring Boot.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, queries, and data access layers.
• Build, deploy and support applications on GCP.
• Contribute to application architecture and own product deliverables with timely, quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop & maintain business applications andproducts using Java, Spring/ Spring Boot
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL Databases, queries, and dataaccess layers.
• Build and Deploy and support applications on GCP
• Contribute to the application architecture, take ownership of product deliverables, and ensure delivery within agreed timelines, specifications, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development Life cycle.

Mandatory skills:

• Strong Design and programming skills in JAVA
• Hands-On experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including database design, SQL development, and query optimization.
• Hands-On experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP),including deploying and supporting Cloud Applications

Preferred Skills and Additional advantages:

• MQTT experience is highly preferred, particularly in publish/subscribe messaging and asynchronous architectures
• Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Working experience in Linux environments.
• Understanding of microservices and distributed application architectures.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with related JAVA enterprise technologies.
• Understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in computer science, IT or a related discipline.
