Job summary

Unison Consulting, established in 2012 in Singapore, is seeking a backend Java developer to design and maintain scalable services using Core Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful/streaming APIs. You will work closely with other back-end developers to implement seamless client-server API interactions with the Web UI and participate in peer reviews to ensure quality.

Join a team serving Asia Pacific clients such as DBS, OCBC, Standard Chartered Bank and Maybank.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in modern Java and testing frameworks (JUnit, etc.).
• Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful/streaming APIs.
• Experience working in a technology consulting environment is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Core JAVA, SpringBoot, and APIs.
• Collaborate with back-end and Web UI teams to ensure seamless API interactions.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions for high-quality deliverables.

• Develop and maintain backend applications usingCore JAVA, SpringBoot, restful and streaming based Api servers.
• Collaborate closely with other back-end developers to implement seamlessclient-server API interactionson the Web UI. Also, participate inpeer code and design reviewsto ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Work alongsideBusiness AnalystsandProject Managersto translate requirements into functional features.

Handlecode deployments, releases, and other operational tasks on a rotational basis, with a strong emphasis onautomation and continuous improvementof the build and deployment processes.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in modern Java and unit and integration testing frameworks (Junit etc)
• Familiarity with agent-based coding assistant tools is a plus.
• Comfortable using tools such asBitbucket (Git),Jira, andConfluence.
• Experience in Linux, shell scripting etc, security ascepcs , SQL based Databases.
• DevOps (Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, VeraCode, Artifactory)
• Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
• Financial domain experience is optional, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.
