Job summary

A leading educational organization in Singapore is looking for a passionate Japanese language teacher to conduct engaging lessons for preschool and kindergarten learners. Ideal candidates should have experience teaching young children, creative teaching methods, and basic English communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom where children’s language development can flourish.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience teaching Japanese to young children, ideally in an early childhood or preschool setting.
  • Solid understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching techniques.
  • Creative, patient, and passionate about nurturing young learners.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct engaging Japanese language lessons tailored to preschool and kindergarten learners.
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters curiosity and language development.
  • Incorporate songs, stories, games, and visual tools to make lessons interactive and enjoyable.
  • Track and document children’s attendance and learning progress.
  • Work closely with fellow educators and communicate feedback to parents as needed.
  • Identify and refer children for additional support if learning challenges are observed.
