Qualifications

• 10+ years in government affairs, healthcare policy, public policy, or market access policy
• Significant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences sectors preferred
• Experience across Asia Pacific or multinational regional environments; collaboration with government officials and policymakers across markets

Responsibilities

• Lead JAPAC regional government affairs and healthcare policy priorities with coordinated messaging
• Analyze emerging policy, pricing, IP, trade developments and advise on risk mitigation
• Coordinate with DC, global and regional teams to align policy positions and external messaging
• Develop narratives, stakeholder plans, and messaging for engagements with policymakers, payers, associations
• Prepare regional leaders to articulate Amgen’s perspectives through briefing materials and strategic guidance
• Share regional insights and best practices to inform global discussions
• Represent Amgen in regional associations and policy forums to strengthen policy leadership
