Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise toilets and washroom areas regularly.
• Sweep and mop restroom floors.
• Clean sinks, mirrors, toilet bowls, urinals, and wash basins.
• Refill soap dispensers, tissue paper, and hygiene supplies.
• Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness of bins.
• Ensure restrooms remain hygienic, dry, and odour-free.
• Clean doors, glass panels, and restroom fixtures.
• Report maintenance or repair issues to management.
• Follow hygiene and sanitation procedures properly.
• Support general cleaning duties when required.

The Sanitation Cleaner plays an important role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe learning environment for students, parents, teachers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise toilets and washroom areas regularly.
• Sweep and mop restroom floors.
• Clean sinks, mirrors, toilet bowls, urinals, and wash basins.
• Refill soap dispensers, tissue paper, and hygiene supplies.
• Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness of bins.
• Ensure restrooms remain hygienic, dry, and odour-free.
• Clean doors, glass panels, and restroom fixtures.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the management.
• Follow hygiene and sanitation procedures properly.
• Support general cleaning duties when required.

Job Timings

• 44 Hours Per Week
• On-site (no remote working)
• Monday - Thursday: 11:30 am - 07:30 pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 09:30 am - 06:30 pm
• Lunch Break: 01:30 pm - 02:30 pm

Overtime

Employees who work more than the stipulated working hours on any day will be paid for any additional hour worked at 1.5 times their hourly basic rate of pay.

Public Holidays

The Centre will remain closed on all public holidays EXCEPT Labour Day and Vesak Day. The board examinations are held in May/June and we are duty bound to our students to remain open on these two public holidays to assist them in their final examination preparation.

Leave Policy

• Annual leave :18days
• Birthday Leave:1day
• Family Care Leave :2days (the above unused leave will be encashed at the end of the year)
• Medical leave:14days
• Hospitalisation Leave :60days (includes 14 days of medical leave) Unused leaves will lapsed at the end of the year
• Maternity leave :16 weeks (For Singapore Citizens) 8 weeks (For others)
• Paternity leave :2 weeks (If employee has worked for 3 continuous months and child is a Singapore Citizen) For Others, as per mutual agreement between employee and employer.
• Childcare Leave :6 days (if child is less than 7 years, and a Singapore Citizen) 2 days (if child is less than 7 years, for others, as per Employment Act)
• Compassionate Leave: 3 days (can be availed only once in a year)

Insurance

• General Physician (GP) : No Co-Pay (Panel Clinic)
• Specialist (SPL) : $2000 per calendar year (No Panel)
• Hospitalisation (Hosp) : $60000 Annual (Govt Restr, 4 bedded Ward)
• Dental Plan (DP) : $1000 per calendar year, 10% Co-Pay (No Panel)
