Job summary

A construction management company in Singapore is looking for a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations. Job description

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction management of the project.
• Ensure the project site is safe and that safety rules and HSE guidelines are followed.
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule.
• Review construction sequences and provide inputs for constructability reviews.
• Lead a team of discipline leads.
• Delegate work to colleagues within the team.
• Meet regularly with clients, third parties, and other managers to report on progress.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Commissioning teams and provide input.
• Ensure KPIs are met and review project schedules to achieve required progress.
• Conduct site visits and report to Project Managers on project progress.
• Demonstrate leadership in managing subcontractors and team leads.
• Lead the team to ensure project completion within the set budget.
• Ensure work is done according to quality requirements, schedule, and contract documents.
• Manage subcontractor manpower and plan work based on the project schedule.
• Oversee logistical requirements of the project.
• Plan out projects and ensure they proceed according to plan during the implementation timeframe.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or related engineering disciplines; Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcomed to apply.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in EPC projects for Oil & Gas, Offshore Renewables & Systems.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings.
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to motivate in challenging work environments.
• Good planning, organizing, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently.
• Able to work day and night shifts with extendable working hours.
