We are looking for an experienced IT Vendor Risk Specialist to strengthen our client's 1.5/2nd line of defense. This role is pivotal in managing third-party IT risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and performance standards while driving robust vendor governance frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the end-to-end vendor risk management process, including onboarding/ offboarding, due diligence, performance tracking, and compliance monitoring.
  • Conduct and support third-party risk management audits and outsourcing audits in line with MAS requirements.
  • Monitor vendor compliance against regulatory, contractual, and operational obligations.
  • Serve as a 1.5/2nd line of defense providing independent challenge, oversight, and assurance over vendor risk controls implemented by the business.
  • Assist in developing and enhancing vendor management policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with MAS TRM and other relevant guidelines.
  • Prepare vendor performance, compliance, and risk reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with IT, Risk, Compliance, and Procurement teams to ensure effective vendor oversight.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in IT risk, audit, compliance, and/or vendor management.
  • Hands-on experience with MAS third-party risk management audits and outsourcing audits is required.
  • Good understanding of MAS TRM Guidelines and regulatory obligations for outsourcing arrangements.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Team player, eager to grow in vendor and outsourcing risk management role.
