A technology consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a Team Lead to manage and implement IT projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning milestones, managing project tasks, supporting testing activities, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards. Job Responsibilities:
Assist project manager to plan the project milestones and project tasks
Understand & analyse the requirements and assist in development of module technical design specification
Translate design into process/program specifications
Manage project tasks to meet schedule, cost and quality
Develop timeline for the tasks in alignment with the schedule of the overall project
Prepare test plan & test environment for System Integration Testing & User Acceptance Testing
Support the testing activities, log the test results, rectify the incidents, carry out retest till closure of incidents
Conduct code review, walkthrough & testing of programs to ensure the quality of deliverables meet the requirements and adhere to defined processes
Involved in construction of complex programs.
Prepare /review project documents meeting schedules
Assist project managers to prepare implementation and data migration checklists,
Ensure the configuration checklists/ release checklists are complete and comprehensive
Ensure the correct version of programs/files are checked in and used for Testing / Migration to production
Deliver quality outputs based on defined processes & take corrective actions when necessary
Assess service request /enhancement feasibility, effort ,schedule and risk plan
Identify & escalate risks to higher level to mitigate impact on - project delivery
Build rapport with the users and their technical staff and manage their expectation
Have clear and open communication with customers on project issues or clarifications
Coordinate and delegate the task to the team members
Guide team members in executing the tasks in the project
Track the team’s progress and provide updates to project manager
Work with team members to resolve problems promptly and provide effective solution
Job Requirements:
Typically 6 years IT experience and 1 year of IT/Communications Engineering project management experience with ability to manage low complexity projects
Diploma or degree in a relevant discipline
Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques.
Ability to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationship
Able to travel as required
