Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking a professional for a direct contract position focused on technical support and server management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing network equipment and services, including LAN/WAN infrastructure, and must possess strong troubleshooting skills. This role includes responsibilities for ensuring smooth operation of network systems and some standby duties. Excellent communication skills are necessary.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for ongoing maintenance projects.
• Perform system administration, implementation, and troubleshooting for Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Manage and support LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, DNS, VPN, and firewalls.
• Ensure smooth operation of network and server systems through proactive monitoring and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• With 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in server management.
• Proficient in managing network equipment and services (LAN, WAN, Routers, Switches, DNS, VPN, Firewalls).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to participate in scheduled standby duties on a rotating basis.
