Job description

If you’ve worked as a Java Support Engineer, DevOps Support Analyst, or Application Support Engineer, this could be a great fit. You’ll be part of a project supporting backend systems for a government agency. We’re looking for someone who’s hands-on with Java and PowerShell — both are must-haves in this role. If you also know Splunk, Tenable, or NetBackup, that’s a big plus.

Job Highlights

• Location: Bukit Merah
• Duration: 24-month contract
• Salary: $4,000/month to $7,000/month
• AWS + Bonuses
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
• Start Date: Immediate preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Review, implement and propose IT enablers, integrations, and system enhancements to support Day 2 operations
• Provide backend support for systems running Java (e.g. for troubleshooting, monitoring, light enhancements)
• Automate and streamline operational tasks using PowerShell
• Support onboarding and configuration of compliance tools such as Splunk, Tenable, and NetBackup
• Monitor and maintain operational performance, ensuring compliance readiness
• Collaborate with infrastructure, audit, and cybersecurity teams to improve system integrity

Who We’re Looking For

• 2–5 years' experience in IT infrastructure or application/system support
• Familiar with backend systems in Java (e.g. Spring Boot)
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and system configuration
• Exposure to compliance/monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, Tenable, NetBackup) is a strong advantage
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills
