Job summary

Manpower Singapore is seeking a System Support Specialist for a 6-month contract in the pharmaceutical industry, located in Tuas. You will act as the primary escalation point for complex system incidents, lead go-live activities, and oversee change control and validation efforts.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience in system support or IT operations within pharma, with strong expertise in UAT/OQ/PQ validation, GxP compliance, and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/Engineering or related field with ITIL or GxP certifications.
• 5-8 years of experience in system support, IT operations, or application management within the pharmaceutical industry.
• In-depth experience in system validation (UAT, OQ, PQ), change control, and configuration governance.
• Knowledge of GxP, FDA, EMA, and data integrity standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary escalation point for complex system incidents, driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and permanent resolution with vendors and stakeholders.
• Lead system go-live, hypercare, and stabilization activities with robust monitoring and cross-functional coordination.
• Oversee change control processes and provide technical review for release readiness.
• Drive system configuration governance and user access lifecycle management in line with compliance.
• Lead and coordinate testing (UAT, OQ, PQ) ensuring defect resolution and audit-ready documentation.
• Mentor System Support Specialist I/II and develop their capabilities.
• Maintain and improve support docs, SOPs, and technical artifacts to high audit readiness.
• Identify system risks and compliance gaps with mitigation strategies.

Location : Tuas

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary escalation point for complex system incidents, driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and permanent resolution in collaboration with vendors and stakeholders.
• Lead system go-live, hypercare, and stabilization activities, ensuring robust monitoring, rapid response, and effective cross-functional coordination.
• Oversee change control processes, evaluate system change impacts, and provide technical review and approval support for release readiness activities.
• Drive system configuration governance, user access lifecycle management, and periodic access recertification in accordance with compliance requirements.
• Lead and coordinate testing programmes (UAT, OQ, PQ), ensuring test strategies, defect resolution, and documentation meet regulatory and quality standards.
• Mentor and guide System Support Specialist I and II, providing technical direction and supporting capability development.
• Maintain and continuously improve support documentation, SOPs, configuration records, and technical artefacts to the highest audit-ready standards.
• Proactively identify system risks and compliance gaps, developing and implementing mitigation strategies in alignment with site quality and IT teams.
• Serve as subject matter expert in support audits, regulatory inspections, and internal reviews, providing timely and accurate information.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across support processes, tooling, and operational practices to enhance system reliability and efficiency
