Job description

  • 11pm to 7am | Monday to Friday

  • Permanent role

  • Provide Level 1 to Level 2 infrastructure, network, and internal systems support for the organization.

  • Act as the first point of contact for internal users regarding issues related to computers, printers, IT hardware, and system usage.

  • Assist senior IT staff with testing, implementing, and supporting new system functions, including training and hyper-care activities.

  • Support senior IT personnel in coordinating with the central IT team on security and compliance matters.

  • Assist with the procurement, installation, configuration, and support of IT fixed assets; ensure asset and license information is properly documented and maintained for review by senior team members.

  • Perform regular internal IT audits and reviews based on established IT policies and procedures; report any non-compliance issues to senior staff.

  • Follow guidance from the IT Support Manager and Senior IT Support Engineer to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base and FAQs, and to improve troubleshooting practices.

  • Support continuous improvement by assisting senior engineers in identifying and addressing recurring IT issues.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar IT support role.

  • Knowledge of SAP, Oracle Application Server, and MySQL is advantageous.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated proactiveness and teamwork, with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, shop floor control systems, or network/server support is highly desirable.
