About the role:

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for managing and supporting the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient operations for both local and remote teams. This role covers IT administration, security, compliance, automation, and user support, with a strong focus on process improvement and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. IT Administration & User Support:
    • Provide end-to-end IT support for Mac OS and Windows environments, troubleshooting hardware and software issues for employees across multiple regions.
    • Manage Google Workspace, including onboarding and offboarding of staff, user account provisioning, and access rights.
    • Oversee network connectivity and internet services for the Singapore office using Unifi Network.
    • Configure and deploy new laptops using JAMF for seamless onboarding.
    • Liaise with external vendors for procurement, internet upgrades, and subscription to security services (e.g., Bitdefender).
    • Maintain and update digital IT asset management systems, including warranty tracking and asset lifecycle management.
    • Maintain the IT ticketing system (Jira), ensuring smooth user experience and efficient issue resolution.
    • Manage multiple SaaS subscriptions, billing, and vendor contracts and the IT budgeting process.
  2. IT Security & Compliance:
    • Administer physical security controls, including CCTV and door access systems.
    • Conduct quarterly phishing simulations and IT security awareness training using KnowBe4.
    • Manage and troubleshoot VPN (L2TP Client-to-Site) for secure developer access to AWS and GCP infrastructure.
    • Maintain and update the User Access Matrix using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
    • Monitor security alerts and logs from Google Cloud Console.
    • Respond to client Requests for Information (RFIs) regarding IT security practices and controls.
  3. Compliance & Audit:
    • Perform periodical reviews of all SaaS services, documenting evidence in Jira.
    • Maintain and update network architecture diagrams for audit readiness.
    • Lead and coordinate ISO 27001 audits, working with internal teams and external auditors.
    • Maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring policies and procedures are up to date.
    • Coordinate with external penetration testers and internal teams to address vulnerabilities.
    • Facilitate and coordinate annual Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises to ensure business continuity.
  4. Automation & Process Improvement:
    • Develop and maintain AI-powered Slack bots and workflows (using Make.com and OpenAI API).
    • Integrate Jira with company platforms to streamline workflows and automate recurring tasks.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in IT Support, Technical Support, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of both Mac OS and Windows operating systems, with hands-on experience troubleshooting and supporting end users across both platforms.
  • Experience administering Google Workspace (G Suite) for user lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, and access rights.
  • Familiarity with SaaS management and Identity and Access Management (IAM) for a variety of cloud applications.
  • Proficiency in configuring and deploying laptops using JAMF and managing device inventory, asset tracking, and warranty management.
  • Experience maintaining office network infrastructure, including Unifi Network setup, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
  • Ability to liaise and coordinate with external vendors for procurement, technical support, and service improvements.
  • Working knowledge of endpoint security solutions (e.g., Bitdefender, Sophos) and applying security best practices.
  • Experience conducting phishing simulations and IT security awareness training (e.g., using KnowBe4).
  • Understanding of VPN setup and troubleshooting (L2TP, Client-to-Site) for secure remote access to cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001) and supporting audit processes, including ISMS documentation and evidence collection.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems (Jira) and migrating legacy systems to modern platforms.
  • Ability to document and maintain network architecture diagrams and user access matrices (RBAC).
  • Skills in automating workflows using tools such as Make.com, Zapier, and integrating with platforms like Jira and Slack.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage recurring IT tasks, disaster recovery exercises, and SaaS reviews.
  • Excellent communication skills for responding to client RFIs, collaborating with auditors, and training internal staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, agile team, often handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience managing multiple SaaS subscriptions, billing, and vendor contracts.
  • Experience with IT budgeting, cost tracking, and financial planning for hardware and software.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and security practices.
