Our client is a Japanese construction company. The role of an IT Support Officer is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance of the company’s IT systems to ensure smooth daily operations and minimise downtime.

This position reports to the Senior Engineer.

Responsibilities

1. Resolve technical difficulties with computer hardware, software, networks, and other IT devices.
2. Respond to user inquiries, debug difficulties, and resolve software and hardware concerns.
3. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
4. Maintain network infrastructure, including WAN/LAN connections and IT devices.
5. Manage IT assets, including inventory and supplies.
6. Administer servers and manage firewall systems.
7. Complete additional tasks as specified by the superior.

Requirement & Preferences

1. Must
2. Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
3. At least 2 years of work experience in IT support.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and good knowledge of networking protocols and security practices.
