A leading company in Singapore is seeking a junior IT support professional. The role involves maintaining computer systems, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with report generation. Ideal candidates should have some experience in desktop support or related technical knowledge, along with strong problem-solving skills.
This is a junior position:
Responsibilities
· Support and maintain organization’s computer systems, desktops, and peripherals.
· Perform end user supports.
· Provision laptop/desktop including software installation and setup.
· Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
· Assist in generating MIS reports
· Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting to resolve end users’ issues.
· Ask questions to pinpoint problem.
· Setup workstations for new employees.
· New user account creation.
· Setup and provide support for Microsoft Outlook on Users’ workstations.
· Assist in Management reports generation.
· Purchase of IT equipment, including getting the quotations.
· Maintain IT asset inventory and documentations.
Requirement
1-2 years of experience in desktop support, maintenance, and basic infrastructure/network troubleshooting.
Those who have technical knowledge of desktop operating systems, desktop applications, and IT hardware but without the working experiences are welcome to apply.
Process problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when required.
