Job summary

A leading IT service company in Singapore is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support for various IT issues. Responsibilities include managing support requests, troubleshooting hardware and software, and maintaining both internal and third-party systems. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in IT and at least one year of experience in helpdesk support.

Qualifications

Job description

Basic: $2,500 - $3,000 (Depends on experience)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, office hours

Location: Island Wide (Office at Lavender)

OT/Standby: Required

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt technical assistance to users for issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, and commonly used business applications.
  • Record, manage, and track all support requests using the company’s ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation of each case.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot PC hardware, Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, VPN access, wireless connectivity, internet browsers, and email (Outlook).
  • Deliver on-site desktop support and basic IT training to users when required.
  • Maintain and support both internal and third-party software used across the organization.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new IT tools to support business efficiency.
  • Handle any additional tasks or IT-related projects as delegated by your manager.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience in IT helpdesk & technical support.
  • Familar with M365, standard web browsers, security software.
  • Able to set up email (Outlook), VPN connections, wireless networks and printers.
