A leading engineering consultant is looking for an IT Support Engineer to oversee various IT projects and provide end-user support for Windows 10/11 and M365. The ideal candidate will design apps using Microsoft Power Apps and ensure compliance with established standards. Job description

  • Position : IT Support Engineer (Azure/M365/SQL)
  • Location : Kaki Bukit
  • Working hours : 5 days (Monday -Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $4400 + Variable Bonus + 15 days annual leave
  • Duration : Permanent
  • Industry :Engineering consultant

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy custom apps using Power Apps (Canvas/Model-Driven).
  • Develop SQL databases and integrate with Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL Server.
  • Automate workflows with Power Automate.
  • Lead full SDLC using Agile/Scrum; oversee testing, debugging, and performance.
  • Deliver IT/digital/knowledge projects in compliance with ISO 27001 and DPTM.
  • Provide Tier 1–2 desktop support (Windows 10/11, M365, hardware, network, printers, video conferencing).
  • Manage user lifecycle: onboarding/offboarding, account setup (AD/Azure AD), access controls, software deployment.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and handle tickets via ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Coordinate local IT contractors to meet SLA targets.
  • Troubleshoot/escalate hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Serve as primary IT contact for offices/sites; support Wi-Fi, phones, printers, and digital tools.
  • Train employees on OS, M365 (Teams, SharePoint), and internal apps.
  • Create documentation and knowledge base articles.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years in end-user support (Windows 10 / 11, M365, networking, remote tools like Intune).
  • 1-2 years building apps with Microsoft Power Apps + proficiency in SQL (queries, schema design).
  • Experience integrating Power Apps with Dataverse / SharePoint / SQL Server.
