IT Support Engineer

We are seeking an IT Support Engineer to support our expansion growth plans. In this exciting role, the IT Support Engineer will provide on-site technical support, hardware installation, troubleshooting, and IT infrastructure maintenance across multiple locations.

This role will require extensive hands-on experience with networking, system administration, hardware repairs, and customer support. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Provide on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  2. Diagnose and resolve desktop, server, network, and connectivity issues in corporate and remote environments.
  3. Support end-users with IT-related concerns, including system configurations, application support, and device setup.
  4. Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and network devices.
  5. Perform vendor coordination and supervision at site locations and data centers.
  6. Maintain IT inventory, spares, and asset management records.
  7. Execute hardware rollouts, software upgrades, and IT migrations across multiple sites.
  8. Work with vendors to ensure proper installation of new IT equipment and infrastructure.
  9. Provide training and documentation to end-users on newly deployed systems.
  10. Work closely with the IT Service Desk team to resolve escalated technical issues.
  11. Travel to client sites, remote offices, and field locations to provide hands-on IT support.
  12. Ensure service tickets and issues are resolved within SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  1. Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  2. Relevant IT certifications will be a plus.
  3. At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT, supporting end users in Field Service, technical support, or maintenance roles. Experience in networking will be beneficial.
  4. Experience in IT Support, Service Desk, or Application support roles, and prior experience in supporting VIP users.
  5. Good networking setup and troubleshooting skills with strong end-user workstation support.
  6. Experience in supporting users in remote locations.
  7. Familiarity with the Microsoft environment.
  8. Experience in ServiceNow/Jira is a plus.
