Job description

As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, manage incidents, and engage in client projects, ensuring high service levels and effective asset management.

  1. Perform End User Support – Client Management
  2. Perform troubleshooting for client platform related problems
  3. Respond promptly to incidents, investigate, and provide temporary and/or permanent resolutions of escalated incidents. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
  4. Perform service requests related to client platforms
  5. Monitor the agreed service levels, document and maintain system configurations, and provide regular reports to relevant parties
  6. Participate in client platform implementation/upgrade projects
  7. Follow up with vendors on hardware replacements
  8. Manage asset records and perform asset management
  9. Manage user accounts (e.g., create passwords, reset, delete)
  10. Perform local server administration for software distribution and patch management services
  11. Manage client platform implementation and upgrade projects
  12. Ensure deliverables meet service level requirements and propose/action plans as needed
  13. Establish facility management standards and best practices to ensure operational consistency across teams
  14. Submit progress reports

Ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Higher Nitec, Diploma in Computer/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Preferably 1+ years of experience in Technology Administration; some network knowledge is advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Knowledge of technology is an added advantage
