Job Description:
- Install and configure operating systems and software on new laptops and desktop computers.
- Provide daily IT support to users, including troubleshooting issues related to printing, email, applications, and computer hardware.
- Create documentation for hardware/software installation and configuration tasks, such as setting up new computers, printers, and deploying applications.
- Maintain service request and trouble ticket logs for all reported user issues and support requests.
- Perform basic Microsoft 365 administrative tasks, including managing user and group mailboxes, blocking spam/phishing emails, mail tracing, and reviewing quarantined messages.
- Ensure all servers and user endpoints (desktops/laptops) are up to date with Windows updates, antivirus definitions, and security patches.
- Develop user guides and provide training sessions for internal users as needed.
- Maintain technical documentation to support ISO compliance, with minimal supervision.
- Create regular Windows Server backups and perform restoration when necessary.
- Conduct routine on-site checks of physical servers, monitor virtual machines, and manage Windows Server backups and system health.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and coordinate with vendors to resolve hardware or software-related issues.
- Provide after-hours support on an on-call basis, including on-site assistance when required.
- Provide on-site support outside regular hours or on weekends during system maintenance or unexpected outages.
Job Requirements:
- A Diploma/Degree in IT/Computer Science.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in IT support and system administration.
- Experience in Windows Active Directory Setup, Networking, Veeam Backup, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Administration (Admin Center, Exchange, Security, Microsoft Purview) is an added advantage.
- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, work independently, and collaborate well within a team environment.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and explore new technologies/tools to improve system stability, security, and user support.
