Job summary

A leading company in civil engineering is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance for desktop, laptop, and network systems. The role involves troubleshooting issues, maintaining IT assets, and liaising with vendors. Ideal candidates should have a relevant degree and 2+ years of experience, but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of IT support experience or fresh graduates welcome.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple requests.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-line support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and network systems.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and email setup
  • Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues on-site and remotely.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
  • Ensure timely backups and antivirus updates.
  • Support network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Liaise with vendors for equipment maintenance or warranty claims.
  • Assist in onboarding/offboarding of staff from IT perspective.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of IT support experience, Fresh grads are welcome to apply
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, basic networking.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer).
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple requests.
