Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via email, phone, or in person, ensuring timely and professional issue resolution.
- Manage and resolve support requests using a helpdesk/ticketing system; ensure accurate logging and timely escalation when required.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Monitor user activities, permissions, security alerts, and licensing within the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Utilize System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to deploy software, manage updates, perform patch management, and ensure device compliance.
- Handle user account lifecycle including creation, modification, and deactivation across various systems including Azure AD and M365.
- Prepare IT equipment and user credentials for new hires; conduct IT induction sessions; ensure secure return and deactivation of IT assets for offboarding.
- Develop and deliver basic IT and cybersecurity training sessions to improve user awareness and digital hygiene.
- Conduct regular system checks, backups, updates, and monitor IT infrastructure to maintain system health and security.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation including asset inventory, configuration records, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in IT support or IT administration.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and monitoring.
- Proficient in using SCCM for software deployment and system management.
- Familiar with IT helpdesk/ticketing systems.
- Solid troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networking
