Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Security Intern to join our Security Operations and Engineering team. The ideal candidate is passionate about security operations, has a foundational understanding of enterprise-grade tools and platforms, and is eager to develop hands-on experience in documentation, policy design, and red teaming methodologies. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain deep exposure to corporate security environments, particularly within Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructures.

  • Cyber Trust Re-certification: Coordinate and manage activities required for Cyber Trust re-certification. Ensure compliance with Cyber Trust requirements and timely submission of documentation.
  • Audit Preparation: Gather, review, and compile audit documents and evidence. Liaise with internal teams and external auditor to facilitate a smooth audit process.
  • Cybersecurity Tabletop Exercise (TTX) Preparation: Assist in planning and documentation for cybersecurity TTX scenarios. Support the coordination of stakeholders and materials for TTX sessions.
  • New Hire Handbook Development: Draft and refine a comprehensive IT section of the new hire handbook, covering security guidelines, acceptable use, and IT onboarding procedures.
  • Level 1 Helpdesk Support: Assist with Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk support. Logistic help - stock take, inventory checks, office infrastructure move, decommission.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist with provisioning and setup of laptops and other IT equipment for new hires. Support access setup (e.g., email, Active Directory accounts, endpoint management).

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and proactive in problem identification and solution.
  • Proven experience in IT service desk, IT operations, cybersecurity, compliance, and audit preparation.
  • Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., Cyber Trust, ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Intune, Active Directory, network, and JIRA Service Management is a plus.
