Your role :

We’re looking for software engineers to:

1. Provide technology solutions that solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services.
2. Develop, maintain & optimize Python scripts to automate processes, enhance system efficiency, and support various business functions.
3. Provide L3 support for complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on production systems.
4. Write and optimize SQL queries for Oracle databases, ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
5. Utilize Unix shell scripting for system administration tasks, process automation, and operational support.
6. Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues, preventing recurrence.
7. Create and maintain detailed documentation for support processes, incident resolutions, system configurations, and automation scripts.
8. Prepare and present reports on incident trends, root cause analyses, and system performance metrics to stakeholders.
9. Participate in release planning meetings to assess potential risks and impact on production systems.
10. Leverage OpenText software solutions for document management, process automation, and data integration.
11. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenText implementations and integrations.
12. Work with the development team to integrate OpenText with existing systems and applications.
13. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within support and release management functions.

Your team :

You’ll be working in the Development & L3 support team, as part of the Technology division in Singapore. We provide development assistance and support for OpenText-based legal archiving solutions for SG & HK. This benefits end users by ensuring data compliance and regulatory adherence. As a senior software engineer, you’ll play an important role requiring excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to perform root cause analysis, and support release activities.

Your expertise :

• Proficient in Python scripting and development, with experience in automating processes and building tools.
• Familiarity with OpenText software solutions for document management and process automation.
• Strong knowledge of Unix shell scripting for system administration and automation tasks.
• Extensive experience with Oracle databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures.
• Understanding of SDLC and release management processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Proven ability to perform thorough root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and independent work, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
