A leading HR service provider in Singapore seeks a skilled Delivery Engineer to ensure successful deployment and configuration of enterprise applications. The role involves troubleshooting, client engagement, and collaboration with project teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally with knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Delivery Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful deployment, configuration, and support of enterprise applications in client environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in application support, infrastructure, and client engagement, with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions and services.
Responsibilities:
· Lead, deploy and support the deployment and configuration of enterprise applications at client sites or remotely.
· Ensure all components of the solution (software, infrastructure, network) are installed, tested, and operational according to client requirements.
· Collaborate with project managers, developers, and client stakeholders to plan and execute delivery activities.
· Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and network issues during and post-deployment.
· Maintain detailed documentation of delivery processes, configurations, and client environments.
· Provide technical guidance and training to clients on application usage and best practices.
· Monitor application performance and ensure post-deployment stability and client satisfaction.
· Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the delivered applications.
· Identify and work with developers to resolve Level 3 issues with developers.
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery processes and client experience.
· Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards during delivery and support.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in application delivery, implementation, or Level 1/2 support for enterprise clients.
· Project lead experience is preferred.
· Strong knowledge of software applications and troubleshooting techniques.
· Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, infrastructure, and networks.
· Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) is a plus.
· Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is necessary.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work directly with clients.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple delivery projects simultaneously.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Willingness to travel for on-site deployments when required.
· Ability to plan activities and projects well in advance and take into account possible changing circumstances.
· Ability to maintain a positive outlook at work.
· Ability to work well in a pressurized environment.
· Ability to work hard and put in longer hours when necessary.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
· Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation for processes, procedures and knowledge articles.
· Ability to apply active listening techniques such as paraphrasing the message to confirm understanding, probing for further relevant information and refraining from interrupting.
· Ability to place client at the forefront of all interactions, understanding their requirements and creating a positive client experience throughout the total client journey.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
· Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
· Experience in delivering and supporting enterprise-grade applications.
