IT Security Officer (Tenable / Splunk / Nessus) | $ 8000

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and manage cybersecurity incidents and respond swiftly to security threats.

2. Track, analyze, and disseminate security advisories, threat reports, and patch recommendations.

3. Conduct regular information security awareness training for employees.

4. Organize and lead cybersecurity tabletop exercises and risk management activities.

5. Perform vulnerability scans and security assessments using Tenable, Nessus, and related tools.

6. Ensure strict compliance with cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and operational guidelines.

7. Continuously improve security monitoring processes and incident response playbooks.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.

2. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response.

3. Proficient with security tools such as Tenable, Splunk, Nessus, or similar platforms.

4. Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).

5. Good communication skills with the ability to train and engage non-technical audiences.

6. Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
