Job summary

BASE CAMP DIGITAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Security Officer for OT environments in a critical infrastructure setting. You will lead threat hunting, gap closure, and build a cybersecurity backbone across operations.

You will own OT security visibility, run SIEM operations, manage risk and compliance, and drive vulnerability management with cross-functional teams to protect assets and ensure resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• 5+ years in IT Security or OT Security, ideally in critical infrastructure or industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security tools.
• Strong incident response and threat management capabilities.
• Eligibility to obtain and hold the required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Map and monitor assets on the network; build asset registers and data flow maps.
• Run SIEM operations, threat detection, and incident response; coordinate fixes.
• Lead risk assessments and security reviews; align with NIST and IEC 62443.
• Drive vulnerability assessments, pen tests, and audits; ensure remediation.
• Vet vendor and supply chain security; ensure external partners meet security bar.
• Design and deliver security training to turn employees into security assets.

What You'll Own

OT Security & Visibility

Map and monitor every asset on the network using non-intrusive tools. Build the asset registers, architecture diagrams, and data flow maps that turn a black box into a defensible environment — and hunt down the unmanaged devices and attack paths hiding in between.

Security Operations & Monitoring

Run point on SIEM operations, threat detection, and incident response. When something looks wrong, you're the one who investigates, contains, and coordinates the fix.

Risk & Compliance

Lead risk assessments and security reviews, keep the organization aligned to frameworks like NIST and IEC 62443, and play a key role in business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

Vulnerability Management

Drive vulnerability assessments, pen tests, and audits — then partner with infrastructure and application teams to actually get findings resolved, not just reported.

Vendor & Supply Chain Security

Vet third-party hardware, software, and service providers, and make sure every external partner meets your security bar.

Security Culture

Design and deliver training that turns every employee into a security asset. Be the go-to OT cybersecurity expert stakeholders trust.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years in IT Security or OT Security, ideally in critical infrastructure, government, scientific, or industrial environments
• Hands-on chops with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security tools
• Solid grounding in incident response and threat management
• Eligibility to obtain and hold the required security clearance

Nice-to-Haves That Make You Stand Out

• SCADA/ICS/OT security experience
• Familiarity with NIST, FISMA, IEC 62443, or similar frameworks
• Experience supporting 24/7 mission-critical operations
• Cloud security exposure (AWS/Azure)
• Background with industrial control systems, telemetry, or environmental monitoring
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, GICSP, or equivalent
