Job summary

NETS in Singapore is offering an internship position focused on business and information security project coordination. You will assist with tracking action items, maintaining project plans, and preparing materials for steering committees.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/IT Security and show a strong interest in information security with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Security, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Information Security and eagerness to develop knowledge and practical experience.
• Basic understanding of computer systems and networks is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination, tracking and follow-up on action items of information security projects.
• Support development and maintenance of project plans, status reports, and dashboards.
• Help prepare documentation for steering committee meetings and program reviews.
• Work with stakeholders to collect and consolidate updates on security initiatives.
• Consolidate information security project proposals and resource needs for the annual workplan.

Position Summary

• Support the development and maintenance of project plans, status reports, and dashboards.
• Help prepare documentation for steering committee meetings and program reviews.
• Work with stakeholders to collect and consolidate updates on business & information security projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Capabilities

• Conduct research on emerging technologies (e.g. Quantum Cryptography etc.).
• Work with industry security consultants to perform security testings, code reviews and cloud standardization.
• Monitor and summarize updates to regulatory requirements (e.g. MAS TRM, CSA advisories etc.) and assess their implications for ongoing programs.
  

Planning and Resourcing

• Support the consolidation of information security project proposals and resource needs for the upcoming year’s cybersecurity workplan.
• Help draft presentation materials, executive summaries, and budget justifications for new initiatives.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Security, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Information Security and eagerness to develop knowledge and practical experience in the field.
• Basic understanding of computer systems and networks is an advantage.
• Available to commence internship from January - June 2027, Full time
