Our client in Singapore is seeking an assistant engineer to carry out IT security configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning.

You will work with the project team to meet schedules, maintain records, and follow established procedures. The role involves OS hardening on Windows, Unix and Linux, configuring Syslog and antivirus solutions, and ensuring secure IT deployments.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in Electronics or equivalent ITE qualification relevant to the role.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in IT security deployment or support.
• Experience with OS hardening and deploying Syslog and EPO/ antivirus solutions.
• English language proficiency to follow technical procedures and report progress.

Aufgaben

• Carry out IT security configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning.
• Maintain accurate records and complete assigned activities according to schedule.
• Work independently and with the project team to meet agreed schedules.
• Follow test procedures and report progress in the prescribed format.
• Test and commission IT security deployments, including hardening and Syslog.
• Perform routine preventive and corrective IT security activities.
