Company’s Profile

Our client is an international technology and engineering company that specialises in providing innovative solutions to their esteemed clients. They are dedicated to quality delivery standards with thousands of engineers globally supporting projects. They have an international presence worldwide and are looking out for a skilled IT Project & Service Manager to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Location: Jalan Boon Lay

Working hours: Monday to Friday, Standard Office Hours

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main IT contact for the Line of Business (LOB), building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure efficient delivery of IT services and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Act as a liaison between Group IT and business units, resolving issues and supporting smooth collaboration.
  • Manage a portfolio of IT projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to meet project goals and ensure successful implementation.
  • Support the rollout of Group IT initiatives and ensure effective communication to end users.
  • Work with stakeholders to maximize ROI and business value from IT solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery, cost efficiency, and business impact.
  • Advise on IT risks and opportunities, identifying technologies that support business growth and efficiency.
  • Promote Group IT policies and best practices across local and overseas units.
  • Manage the IT budget for the business area and allocate costs to LOBs appropriately.
  • Assist in pre-audit checks and ensure timely resolution of identified IT issues.

Requirements:

  • Min. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of expertise in the IT industry in shared service/business partnership roles, including 3+ years in portfolio project management and team leadership
  • Possess knowledge of IT infrastructure, security systems, web/portal development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with senior management and operational staff
  • Possess certification in IT Project Management (I.e., CITPM or PMP) is a good bonus
  • Experience in AI, cybersecurity and risk management
  • Familiarity with ERP SAP system and processes
