Project Officer – Job Description
Key Responsibilities
The Project Officer will be assigned work that includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Provide day-to-day technical support to operational users
- Deliver technical support for operational events
- Manage the lifecycle of ICT equipment, if any
- Administer user accounts and inventory management systems
- Support the rollout of ICT-related projects

Detailed Job Scope
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to support operational and project implementation
- Provide prompt technical support for operational events and business-as-usual ICT troubleshooting
- Liaise with vendors to ensure ICT provisioning and delivery of operational outcomes
- Offer technical consultation and solutions to end-users
- Perform 1st-level troubleshooting for network issues at designated sites
- Manage user expectations and resolve technical issues/incidents in a timely manner
- Maintain inventory and assets of ICT equipment, including peripherals and accessories
- Ensure ICT equipment readiness for deployment
- Support and manage ICT equipment disposal
- Assist with ICT audit activities and stock-taking
- Administer user accounts and inventory management systems
- Assist with mobile plan provisioning and subscription matters
- Support ICT budgeting: monitor expenditures and verify billings as required
- Manage and maintain the Network Control Centre/Room
- Ensure compliance with agency SOPs and Government instruction manuals
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and HTX management
Qualifications
- Diploma in Computer Studies, IT, Electronics, Communications Engineering, or related fields
Skills & Experience
- Preferably 2 years of experience in technical ICT support or operations
- Experience in project coordination, field support, or Whole-of-Government ICT roles is an advantage
- Strong ICT knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A team player with initiative and ability to work under pressure
- Fast learner with a resourceful and positive working attitude
