What the role is:
You will be part of the CCCS’s IST team to chart and implement CCCS’s digitalisation initiatives, as well as to lead the development and implementation of various IT solutions across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project lifecycles, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and developing high-quality IT solutions to meet the business needs of CCCS. Whilst the current application relates to a contract position, successful applicants may, if subsequently found suitable, be considered for placement to a permanent position.
What you will be working on:
As a project manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders such as end-users and vendors, to drive and project manage CCCS’s digitalisation initiatives such as manage project lifecycles, from initiation to deployment and ensure timely and within-budget delivery. You will develop and maintain project plans, drive project implementation, conduct project status updates, identify and mitigate risks and follow-up to facilitate issues resolution. As an application developer, you will collaborate with end-users to understand the business needs of CCCS, explore and drive the implementation of technologies and ICT solutions to transform business processes for greater organization effectiveness. This includes designing, developing and testing in-house IT solutions using the various programming languages and automation technologies. You will need to ensure high-quality deliverables including providing timely and effective solutions. Other duties include developing and maintaining technical documentation for IT systems, ensuring IT governance and compliance and ensuring adherence to Whole-of-Government ICT policies and standards.

The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (“CCCS”) administers and enforces the Competition Act (Cap. 50B) which empowers CCCS to investigate and adjudicate anti-competitive activities, issue directions to stop and/or prevent anti-competitive activities and impose financial penalties. CCCS is also the administering agency of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (Cap. 52A) or CPFTA which protects consumers against unfair trade practices in Singapore.
