Job summary

A technology consulting firm in Singapore is looking for an IT Project Manager to oversee application development, customer training, and project management tasks. The successful candidate will have strong experience in ASP.NET, SQL Server, and should be able to interact effectively with clients. Relevant educational qualifications and project management experience, especially in government projects, are required. The role is onsite in the CBD area and offers a permanent contract.

IT Project Manager

• Permanent or Direct contract role
• Onsite work arrangement
• Work location: CBD area

The Opportunity

• You will be responsible for managing customer requirements, application development, implementation, customer training, support and maintenance for both on-premise and cloud deployments.
• You will apply the principles of software development cycle to translate functional requirement into good technical design, scalable coding, maintenance and thorough testing.
• Interfacing with customers for the project roll‑out.
• You will ensure application development work follow policies, standards and industry best practices
• Any other IT related tasks to support smooth business operations

Your Background

• 5-8 years of relevant experience (at least 2-3 years of Project Management Experience)
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience
• Experience in project management (especially for Singapore government application projects)
• Experience in development with ASP.NET with C#
• Experience in web development markup languages (HTML/XML) and stylesheet languages (CSS/XSL)
• Experience using SQL server including design and development of tables, functions, stored procedures, views, indexes, etc.
• Proficient with Visual Studio
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Power Apps
• Experience managing projects within government or quasi-government agencies
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
