The role provides technical and programme leadership across the full lifecycle—from solution design and migration to testing, deployment, governance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise technology transformation and application implementation programmes to achieve strategic business outcomes.
• Oversee design, development, integration, and implementation of technology solutions that meet requirements.
• Provide technical leadership for Data, AI, Digital Banking, Finance, Risk and Regulatory Reporting.
• Manage end-to-end implementation activities including planning, solution design, migration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define solution requirements and prioritise delivery efforts.
• Establish and maintain programme governance, including RAID management, executive reporting, and steering committees.
• Manage technology vendors, budgets and delivery resources for cost-efficiency.
• Lead proofs-of-concept, technology evaluations, RFQs and RFPs to assess solutions.
• Monitor application performance, quality and delivery standards for compliance and excellence.
• Drive adoption of enterprise data and analytics platforms to enhance BI capabilities.
• Plan and manage resource and capacity across local and regional teams.
• Identify opportunities for technology optimization and cost savings.

We are seeking an experienced Software and Applications Manager to lead enterprise technology transformation and application implementation initiatives across digital banking, data and AI, finance, regulatory reporting and risk functions. The role will provide technical and programme leadership across the full implementation lifecycle, including solution design, delivery, migration, testing, deployment, governance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise technology transformation and application implementation programmes to achieve strategic business outcomes.
• Oversee the design, development, integration, and implementation of technology solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Provide technical leadership for initiatives in Data, AI, Digital Banking, Finance, Risk, and Regulatory Reporting to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage end-to-end implementation activities including planning, solution design, migration, testing, deployment, and post-production support to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with senior business, technology, and architecture stakeholders to define solution requirements and prioritize delivery efforts.
• Establish and maintain programme governance, including RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management, executive reporting, and steering committee processes.
• Manage technology vendors, partners, budgets, and delivery resources to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
• Lead Proof-of-Concepts, technology evaluations, RFQs, and RFPs to assess and select appropriate technology solutions.
• Monitor application performance, quality, risk, and delivery standards to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
• Drive adoption of enterprise data and analytics platforms and technology solutions to enhance business intelligence capabilities.
• Plan and manage resource and capacity across local and regional teams to meet project demands.
• Identify and implement opportunities for technology optimization, operational efficiency, and cost savings.
• Ensure technology, security, risk, and governance considerations are integrated into solution delivery processes.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in Digital Banking and Finance Transformation to support business modernization.
• Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting and AML technology to enhance compliance capabilities.
• Familiarity with Data & Analytics platforms to improve data-driven decision-making.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and enterprise transformation to accelerate project outcomes.
• Experience managing regional teams and technology vendors to coordinate cross-location initiatives.
